Returns from booksellers and wholesalers will be accepted without written permission from the Press.
Full credit will be given only if 1) the dealer supplies the invoice number and date of order, 2) the books being returned are in print, and 3) the books being returned are in fully salable condition.
Overstock returns will only receive credit for the books. No credit issued for the cost of shipping them to us.
Cancellation returns (those where the customer says they sent us an order cancellation) will only receive credit for the books. No credit will be issued for the cost of shipping if the cancellation request was received after the books were shipped from our warehouse.
Shelf-worn returns are considered returns not in saleable condition and will not receive credit. If customer wants shelf-worn books returned to them, the University Press will ship books back to customer at customers expense.
Damaged, Defective or Error Claim returns will receive full credit for the books and for the cost of shipping them to us if damage, defect, or error is determined to have been caused by the University Press. Customer must complete and submit the damaged book claim form to receive credit.
