J. Garry Clifford
J. Garry Clifford, professor of political science at the University of Connecticut, is the author of Citizen Soldiers: The Plattsburg Training Camp Movement, 1913-1920, which won the 1972 Frederick Jackson Turner Prize. He is also coeditor (with Norman Cousins) of Memoirs of a Man: Grenville Clark and coauthor (with T. G. Paterson and K. Hagan) of American Foreign Policy: A History.
