Landmark Presidential Decisions seeks books examining key decisions in American presidential history. Volumes in the series should focus on individual decisions, rather than broad policy agendas. Decisions can be a presidential initiative (e.g., Truman and the Marshall Plan) or a decision made in response to a crisis or external circumstance (e.g., Bush and 9/11).

The series is designed primarily for course adoption. We are looking for proposals on topics frequently covered in the classroom. Authors should keep students in mind as the target audience, with scholars, politicians, policymakers, and educated general readers as additional potential audiences.
