Publishing is all about relationships. Our authors are the lifeblood of a press, but so are readers like you, who want to support our work (and enjoy it as well!).
Friends of the Press is a great way to support us for as little as $10/month. As a thank you for your gift, we offer a variety of memberships with benefits that enable you to enjoy our books even more. Each gift—no matter how small—helps us keep our doors open and expand what we do in some of the following ways:
- Enable us to publish more first-time authors
- Increase our publications with new book series and imprints
- Defray the ever-increasing costs of running a nonprofit press
- Offer more titles on open-access platforms
How Does It work?
There are four different membership levels, ranging from $10 to $100 per month. Choose the level that makes the most sense for you.
Once you sign up, we’ll send you an email to choose your benefits. Then sit back and enjoy—reading your books and knowing you’re making a difference through scholarly and regionally publishing at UPK.
Your membership is ongoing, but you can adjust your level or cancel anytime.
