The University Press of Kansas will be displaying and selling our books at the Trails that Connect Us event from 5:00-8:00 p.m at Free State Brewing’s Eastside Brewery, a half mile east of 19th and Massachusetts Streets.
Friends of Lawrence Area Trails will be here with trail updates, and Sunflower Outdoor & Bike will have demos and maintenance tips. Drop by to enjoy beer, food, live music, and learn more about local outdoor opportunities.
The location provides easy access from the Burroughs Trail, so cycling or walking is encouraged! There will be free bicycle valet parking — ride and park your bike to receive a beer sample ticket! Plenty of activities for kids. Dogs on leash are welcome outside.
