Jerry Harrington, author of Thunder from the Prairie: The Life of Harold E. Hughes, will be discussing his book and the life and career of Hughes, a former Iowa governor, at Beaverdale Books in Des Moines. Harrington will be joined by Bonnie Campbell, a former Iowa Attorney General and a member of Hughes’s staff.
