The University Press of Kansas will hold its second annual Spring Publishing Seminar from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on April 25th. This event is open to anyone affiliated with the six state universities of Kansas: Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University, the University of Kansas, and Wichita State University.

Event itinerary:

1:00 to 1:40: All About UPK: Who We Are, What We Do (Kelly Chrisman Jacques, Managing Director)

1:45 to 2:25: Researching Publishers and Preparing a Proposal (Joyce Harrison, Editor in Chief)

2:30 to 3:10: Revising Your Dissertation (David Congdon, Senior Editor)

3:15 to 4:00: Contracts, Copyright, and Permissions (Joyce Harrison, Editor in Chief and Andrea Laws, Administrative Assistant/Permissions Coordinator)

Each presentation will be followed by Q&A. There will be a five-minute break between sessions.
