The film No Place Like Home: The Struggle against Hate in Kansas will be shown at the Leavenworth Public Library. The hour-long documentary film, directed by Oscar winner Kevin Willmott and narrated by singer-songwriter Melissa Ethridge, is based on the book No Place Like Home: Lessons in Activism from LGBT Kansas by C. J. Janovy.
