The film No Place Like Home: The Struggle against Hate in Kansas will be shown at the Glenwood Arts movie theater in Kansas City. The hour-long documentary film, directed by Oscar winner Kevin Willmott and narrated by singer-songwriter Melissa Ethridge, is based on the book No Place Like Home: Lessons in Activism from LGBT Kansas by C. J. Janovy. A Q&A session with Janovy will follow the showing of the film.
