Kelly Kindscher, author of Edible Wild Plants of the Prairie: An Ethnobotanical Guide and Medicinal Wild Plants of the Prairie: An Ethnobotanical Guide, will receive the George B. Fell Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 conference of the Natural Areas Association held in Manhattan, Kansas. Kindscher is professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Kansas and a senior scientist at the Kansas Biological Survey.
The awards luncheon and presentation ceremony, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. is sponsored by Central Indiana Land Trust, Inc.
