The Kansas Book Festival, celebrating Kansas authors, will take place on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka, KS. All presentations are free and open to the public. The University Press of Kansas will have a booth at the festival, and the following UPK authors will be giving presentations about their books.
- Lawrence Goldstone, author of Not White Enough: The Long, Shameful Road to Japanese American Internment
- Kate Benz, author of Nothing but the Dirt: Stories from an American Farm Town
- Margie Carr, author of Kansas City’s Montgall Avenue: Black Leaders and the Street They Called Home
- Brian Daldorph, author of Words Is a Powerful Thing: Twenty Years of Teaching Creative Writing at Douglas County Jail
