Prior to the Homecoming football game, an event will be held at the Adams Alumni Center and Jayhawk Welcome Center on the University of Kansas campus. The University Press of Kansas will be selling copies of the new book The Jayhawk: The Story of the University of Kansas’s Beloved Mascot by retired University archivist Rebecca Ozier Schulte.
Also at the event, KU alumna and artist Megh McClain Knappenberger will be unveiling her new series of paintings commissioned by the KU Alumni Association for the newly renovated Adams Alumni Center.
