James F. Gebhardt

James F. Gebhardt, a twenty-year veteran of the U.S. Army, served as a rifleman in Vietnam, tank company commander in Germany, and instructor and researcher at the U.S. Command and General Staff College. He has translated two other works by Loza, Commanding the Red Army's Sherman Tanks: World War II Memoirs of Hero of the Soviet Union Dmitriy Loza and Fighting for the Soviet Motherland: Recollections from the Eastern Front.
